So my Dodge Intrepid is mad at me.  I know this because it was yelling.  The build up to this is actually quite humorous so please stay tuned.

We signed the papers on our house yesterday.  Woohoo!  Finally it is done.  Now we can focus on moving in and making babies.  The last big scheduled event after this will be the reception in March.  I will need everyone's street address for the invitations so please email it to me so I can make sure to get you one.

The paperwork for the closing was massive.  We actually were signing papers for something like an hour or so.  That was just for our side of the paperwork.  It was interesting that we had to sign nearly three times the papers that the sellers did.  But as it was explained to me they all made sense.  It was funny that they kept making a big deal out of the amount we would be actually paying if we just made the payments on time for 30 years.  I was expecting it, so I was prepared for the amount.  They were not factoring in my ability to completely not care about something once I have the knowledge and am able to prepare for the consequences.  Seems they thought it would freak me out.  Hell I don't like paying extra on a car loan, and that is only for a handful of years.  So I had just extrapolated that idea to include the length of time a home loan is usually for.  It's simple, right?

We decided to celebrate and eat out after all that signing.  Yay!  Further in debt than ever!  Kidding, anyway we went to Applebee's.  I hade the Cajun steak and shrimp, Heather had the house sirloin with double veggies.  Seems like a minor detail but later it will be important when I read this again.

I installed Neverwinter Nights again.  I needed something to play.  It's free and all the updates are online.  Meh, what could be better right?  Flying over the city saving citizens that's what.  Ah well, I will play CoH again someday.

Anyway, off to move and pack and keep my job for a bit longer.
